What I Wore: Photoshoot

So, I totally didn’t realize that I have only one crappy full body shot of this outfit until right now. So I guess it’s just a study of my tired, adorable mug. OH WELL!

Jacket is from Talbot’s via The Salvation Army (I know they’re bigots, but I used to steal from them in high school, so to make up for that I shop there now. Also, they seem to always have the best stuff. Hatred must attract cute clothes.)

What I Wore: Working Ghoul

I found this amazing Talbot’s jacket at the thrift store. It still had it’s original tags and spare buttons hanging off the sleeve, and thanks to a 50% off sale, it was only $8.00. I was in thrift store heaven. I bought 3 jackets that day, all incredible deals.

What I Wore: Orange Shift

My sweet boyfriend Ben thought that I should stand in front of the closet to take my outfit pictures, and since our doors are mirrored, I had to leave them open or give you guys an eye full of dirty room and distractingly handsome photographer boyfriend.

All told, I don’t really like the closet photos. I feel like the disorganization of my closet interior looks weird in this context. Next photos will be in the kitchen.

My Horizontal Lines

Ever since I rediscovered this shirt at the bottom of my laundry hamper, I’ve been totally in love with it. It’s so comfortable and soft and fits great. You’re probably going to be seeing a lot more of it in the future.

In a move completely uncharacteristic of me, I got my first mani-pedi this week. Not bad. I’m not sure if it’s worth the $35 plus tip I paid for it, but it was a fun experience. And my nails were pretty for awhile.

What I Wore: For Comfort, For Glory!

Those antibiotics are really working, but I’m still a few apples short of a fritter-not crazy, just lazy. So I wanted to wear something that was work appropriate (my office is very casual, as you probably already know) as well as being comfortable. So, I added the sometimes controversial (see here) under-tit belt to a soft old favorite t shirt over my touch-of-fancy eyelet lace skirt. Then, while I was at work my order from Sock Dreams arrived (I have all my online orders delivered to work) so I put on these Extraordinary Thigh Highs and completely rocked the rest of my day.

What I Wore: Under-Tit Belt

While we were looking at today’s photos, my sweet boyfriend Ben expressed is doubts about “the under-tit belt.” He thinks that my outfit looks better without the belt. I think the belt ads a touch of fancy, and shows off the girls. What do you guys think?

What I Wore: Muffet of the Mountain

I thought of this name as soon as I finished putting this outfit together. I was overjoyed. A man in the elevator at work told me I had a cute outfit and then asked me if I was in a play. I said “No, I just dress like this.” It was awesome. I got compliments all day. This is probably one of my favorite outfits, the only thing I’m sad about is that the camera was dead, so we’re stuck with cell phone pictures. I really wish there were better pictures of my sweet leg warmers.

What I Wore: Voting Day

I know this is the outfit from yesterday, but I didn’t have time to put it up last night. Anyway, I planned on wearing blue, since I’m a democrat. Unfortunately, like so many other things that day, it all came out red despite my best efforts. Sorry for the quality of the pictures, these were taken with a phone. Ben’s camera is not feeling so good.
