John Barrowman: Man, Myth, Mammoth

Children, gather ’round. I’m here to tell you about a man you love. Some of you may not know you love him, but you do. Just look at this:

Now that you’ve thoroughly enjoyed yourself, let me tell you about this tasty looking meat-popsicle right here.

  • John Scot Barrowman is Scottish and American (what cruel bastard names a Scotsman Scot?)
  • He is currently 46 delicious years old

  • He is best known for playing the role of pansexual immortal badass Captain Jack Harkness on Dr. Who and Torchwood

  • He went to college in San Diego. You’re welcome California.

  • He is an actor, singer, and an author. He co-writes with his sister Carol, their most recent book is Bone Quill, the second in a series of YA fantasy novels about twins with magical powers.

  • He has been a professional actor since 1989, when he played Billy Crocker in Cole Porter’s Anything Goes at the Prince Edward Theatre, in London
  • He does not believe in marriage, and does not refer to his 20-year relationship with Scott Gill as a marriage, although they were registered as civil partners in 2006

  • They have a house in London and another house in Cardiff
  • He currently plays the role of Malcolm Merlyn/The Dark Archer on Arrow, televisions second-most shirtless dude having program after Teen Wolf

  • He makes me want a hot dog real bad.

Short post tonight as I have much to do, and I promised Ben we’d go to bed early. Unfortunately, it won’t be for sex stuff, but for sleeping since we’re both worn the fuck out.

P.S. Thank you Stacy for reminding me that this also happened:
