This was in my drafts folder with absolutely nothing in the text field. Apparently I was really excited to write a blog called Communication, Motherfucker, Do You Do It? So I wrote the title, saved the draft, and then went on with my life. Did I think I’d know what this was supposed to be about? Did I not care, and just really want a blog post with this title?
I honestly have no clue.
I can see from the metadata that this post was last edited on Sept. 5, 2013. According to Facebook, the only thing I did on Sept. 5 was post a link to that day’s blog, a terrible piece of shit with a really cool batman doodle. I tweeted five times that day, three tweets about Deep Space 9, one with a link to the aforementioned blog, and this:
By the order of the holy writ of our father cocola and our mother mentosa I now combine the sacred items to form the geyser of renewal.

My most popular tweet of the day with one lonely retweet (thanks Chris!)
I mean, I agree that good communication is integral to almost any process, certainly every relationship. But why did I need such a dramatic title? And what’s more to say about communication anyway? We all do it, to some extent, and we almost all should do it better and more often.
Motherfucker.
